Notice for Prequalification

Lease PPPs for the Operation, Maintenance and Management
of Five Slaughterhouses in Afghanistan

Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL), Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, intends to grant leases for the operation, maintenance and management of 5 slaughterhouses in Afghanistan as 5 separate lease contracts and hereby invites interested companies/consortia to submit Applications in response to this Prequalification Document, so that it may evaluate and shortlist those Applicants who shall be invited to respond to the RFPs. As part of the RFP Stage, MAIL will evaluate the Proposals submitted by the Shortlisted Bidders and appoint Preferred Bidders to undertake the Project.

Interested companies/consortia can register their interest by sending the completed Registration Form to habibullah.habibi@mail.gov.af to participate in the bidding process. The Registration Form and Prequalification Documents can be accessed below. A Pre-Application meeting will be organized on 3rd June 2019 at MAIL, details of which would be duly notified to the registered entities.

Applicants may submit Applications for a maximum of 3 Lots (each separately) out of the following:

Lot 1 – Operation, Maintenance and Management of Kabul Reshkhor Slaughterhouse

Lot 2 – Operation, Maintenance and Management of Kabul Shakardara Slaughterhouse

Lot 3 – Operation, Maintenance and Management of Herat Slaughterhouse

Lot 4 – Operation, Maintenance and Management of Mazar Slaughterhouse

Lot 5 – Operation, Maintenance and Management of Kunduz Slaughterhouse
