New Administrative Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance Introduced

H.E Mohammad Isamil Rahimi, suggested by the Ministry of Finance was approved by the President. H.E Abdul Hadi Arghanidiwal Acting Minister of Finance, introduced him to the MOF personnel on April 23, 2020.

In this ceremony, Directors and MoF personnel participated. H.E Arghandiwal stated that the new Deputy Minister has extensive experience in international context; there is a huge room to undertake responsibilities at MoF; we are glad to have him here and wish him success.

H.E Rahimi, newly appointed Administrative Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the President and Acting Minister of Finance for their trust; especially because they trusted in the challenging times of Coronavirus pandemic. ‘I appreciate their trust and will do whatever it takes to get my job done. I would like to request all MoF personnel to support me to overcome this situation’ he added.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Rahimi was former Policy and Technical Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy; he has served in high rank positions at the government and some international organizations.
