Mufti Saeed-led Delegation Emphasizes Revenue Target, Assessing Transparency as Visits Kandahar

The Deputy Minister of Revenues and Customs of MoF, Alhaj Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed, and the Director General of Revenues, Alhaj Maulawi Safar Mohammad Sahar, visited Kandahar province. They closely evaluated the affairs of the Mustofiyat (Directorate of Finance) and Customs for the intention of weighing activities.
The visiting delegation, in turn, discussed the progress of the affairs with the officials of Mustofiyat and Customs, and emphasized achieving the revenue target, setting coordination between the Kabul based and provincial bodies, solving the tax problems of traders, industrialists, and the private sector, and providing them with facilities.
During this visit, the problems and requests of the officials of Mustofiyat and Customs were heard, and they were assured of removing their problems and fulfilling their requests as well.
Notably, the purpose of this visit was to assess the transparency of revenues, providing facilities for traders, and evaluating the coordination between provincial bodies.
