Acting Minister of Finance and Acting Director of Afghan StatePrinting House Discuss the Progress of the Company

H.E. Prof. Mohammad HumayonQayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure Affairs to H.E. the President, met with Mr. Jamal Rahman, Acting Director of the Afghan State Printing House (ASPH) on March 20, 2020.In the meeting, Mr. WalidHowaida, Senior Technical Advisor of ASPH was also present.

Prof. Qayoumi, the Acting Minister of Finance said that the government’s confidential documents printing is very important, and we want these documents to be printed inside the country. Meanwhile, he asked for aprogress report of the company’s construction.

Acting Director of the Afghan State Printing House (ASPH) stated that from the two buildings being constructed for ASPH, one is completed and its machinery has also arrived. They will be installed and will be available in the next quarter of the year. The construction work of the second building is contracted to the Banayee Construction Company,and its progress is a little slow.

The Acting Minister of Finance instructed them to discuss this with the Administrative Office of the President and Banayee Construction Company in the next week to complete its construction on time. He asserted that Germany funds this project, and its progress should not be stalled for any reason.
