Acting Minister of Finance and UNDP Economic Experts Discuss Coordination of Afghanistan Economic Programs in line with Sustainable Development Goals

H.E. Prof. Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi, Acting Minister of Finance and Chief Advisor on Infrastructure to H.E. the President met  UNDP Economic Experts today July 30, 2019.

In the meeting, the parties discussed United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Coordination of Afghanistan Economic Programs in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Reforms in Afghanistan Financial Sectors, coordinate planning and budgeting with SDG, establishment of a joint working committee to be able to boost the sustainable development process in Afghanistan, major investment in agriculture, horticulture and the programs supporting Afghanistan toward self –reliance, implementation of extensive reforms in revenue resources and other relevant issues.

UNDP economic experts stated “that Afghanistan can reach to sustainable economic growth through raising domestic products and increasing exports.
