The ‘Directorate of Quality and Supervision of Petroleum Products’ of MoF, which determines the quality of petroleum products imported into Afghanistan based on the standards, returned 60 tankers of imported petroleum products from a number of customs last week.
Out of the 60 petroleum tankers returned, 28 tankers were returned from Nimroz Province Customs, 20 tankers from Abu Nasr Farahi Customs of Farah Province, and 12 tankers from Torghundiy Customs of Herat Province.
Notably, according to the reliable standards set by Directorate of Quality and Supervision of Petroleum Products of MoF, it provides Afghanistan with the opportunity to import high-quality and standard petroleum products, and strictly prevents the import of low-quality petroleum products.
