MoF Approves Decision of Fourth Session of Tariff Committee of Current Fiscal Year

The decisions of the fourth session or meeting of the Tariff Committee were approved on behalf of the MoF. In the meeting of the Tariff Committee, the following decisions have been made regarding the support of domestic production, trade and government revenues:
1. The customs tariff of dry milk imported in parcel is increased from 5% to 8% that can be implemented in all the customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
2. The customs tariff of construction paint is increased from 6.5% to 10% that is applicable in all the customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
3. The customs tariff of single-use plastic dishes (SUPDs) is increased from 30% to 40% that can be implemented in all customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
4. The customs tariff of carpets, rugs and other floors is increased from 25% to 30% that is applicable in all customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
5. The customs tariff for Turkish stoves made for woods and coals is increased from 2.5% to 10% that is applicable in all customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
6. The customs tariff of thresher machines is increased from 10% to 16% that can be implemented in all the customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year.
7. The import customs tariff of malt is increased from 20% to 30% that can be implemented in all the customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year. In addition, the seasonal tariff of kino (kinu) that was previously 30% and malt 20%, and its period was set from the first of Qawos to the 29th of the Hoot (22/ November – 19/ March) which the customs seasonal tariff of both mentioned fruits is increased to 40% and can be implemented in all customs offices of the country from now on.
8. The customs tariff of synthetic cotton is increased 2.5% to 8% that can be implemented in all the customs offices of the country on the 5th of Jadi (26/ December) of current Hijri year. Also, the seasonal customs tariff of synthetic and natural cotton, which its period is valid from 15th Mizan to 29th of Aqrab (7/ October – 20/ November) is increased from 8% to 16%.
