Trilateral agreement signed to electronicize of the revenue system

Oct 25, 2022, a trilateral agreement to electronicize of the revenue system was signed between the Ministry of Finance, Da Afghanistan Bank and National Statistic & Information Authority at Government Media and Information Center (GMIC).
The conference held on this occasion was attended by Minister of Finance, Alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, the Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank Abdul Qahar (Haji Edris) and Head of National Statistic and Information Authority (NSIA), Faqir Mohammad Zayar, General Director of Revenue Meraj Mohammad Meraj and other officials the related department and local media.
In the opening remarks, Minister of Finance, alhaj Mullah Hedayatullah Badri said: “The national revenue is like blood in the body for the progress and financial independence of the country, linking the management and information of the revenue collection system is an important step toward better governance. The electronic revenue collecting process will become transparent as a result of this move, and the appropriate facilities will be established in the concerned departments.
Later, the head of the National Statistics and Information Authority, Dr. Faqir Mohammad Zayar, underlined the need for electronicize of the revenue system stated that in order to provide the essential transparency in this sector all the revenue should be collected transparently through the system.
Meanwhile, Asadullah Mushfiq, the head of the payment system of Da Afghanistan Bank said that the bank is committed to all principles of this agreement and consider this action to be an effective step for bringing transparency in national revenue collection and trying to come to an agreement with other departments as well.
