MoF Hikes Tariff on 11 Various Imported Goods to Support Domestic Productions!

The second session of the ‘Tariff Committee’ in the current fiscal year 1403 was held under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Customs and Revenues of MoF, Mullah Abdul Qaher Haji Idris at the meeting hall of DM for Customs and Revenues with the participation of the members of the said committee.

In this meeting, the Directorate of Tariff of General Directorate of Customs has shared the requests of traders and industrialists and comprehensive analysis has been presented with the attendees of the meeting as members of tariff committee have fully discussed and made decisions in accordance with the following items regarding to support domestic production, trade and the growth of Emirate-related revenues, which will be implemented according to the principles of the tariff after the approval of MoF.

 

It was also decided to establish national tariff codes for scores of goods in order to facilitating trading.
