Advisory Meeting for Implementation of Value Added Tax Has Been Conducted

On Feb 25, 2021, Mr. Mohammad Khalid Painda, the Acting Minister of Finance had an advisory meeting with the officials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and European Union (EU) for implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) and discussed government’s preparation for its implementation.

In the meeting, it was decided that in order to implement VAT, coordination should be made between the mentioned institutions and Ministry of Finance Should be ready for implementing it
